Taking football fever to another level, Coca-Cola Bangladesh has launched a special Campaign for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Coca-Cola that brought the spectacular, authentic, solid gold FIFA World Cup Trophy to Bangladesh in December 2013, is all set to bring football fans across the country with another fabulous footballing experience.
Through this campaign Coca-Cola wants to bring Brazil to the world and the world to Brazil, and the Bangladesh Campaign has been specially created to celebrate Football and Coca-Cola. The Bangladesh TVC is a local representation of this global campaign.
The TVC is extra special for Bangladesh, since it has been conceptualized, directed and produced in Bangladesh itself. Directed by Piplu Khan from Apple Box Films and conceptualized by Bates and Chi, the TVC has been shot across multiple locations, from Bangladesh’ beaches and by-lanes to rooftops and cafes, it captures the real essence and passion for football in the country. The film is based on a simple insight around how the country adopts teams – mostly Brazil and Argentina – and how entire country comes alive during the World Cup. The films aims to capture the real happiness that football brings to the country and how the nation comes together to celebrate one of the world’s biggest sporting festivals – FIFA World Cup.
