A 24-member business delegation of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) , led by its President Mohammad Shahjahan Khan, left here on Thursday for attending the 9th China-South Asia Business Forum in Kunming.
The DCCI attends the China-South Asia Business Forum every year with a view to promoting trade, investment between the South-West region of China and Bangladesh.
The Business Forum meeting will continue till Sunday as it began today (Thursday), and the DCCI President will woo Chinese investors to invest in Bangladesh during the meeting.
The delegation will meet the business community in China and have bilateral business meetings with the Chinese business community.
The members of the delegation include Directors M Iftekharuddin (Naushad), Rizwan-Ur Rahman, Alhaj Abdus Salam, M Shoaib Choudhury, AKD Khair Mohammad Khan.
The other members of the delegation are Convenor of Trade Delegation and Trade Fair Standing Committee Sayed Habibur Rahman, M Nurul Haque, M Habib Ullah Tuhin, Mohammad Abdur Razzak, M Monium Khan, Md Rashed Ali, M Shahid Hossain, M Ikram Dhali, Dr Khalilur Rahman, M Abdul Mannan, Engr Kazi Mahbubur Rahman, M Abul Kalam, Mohammd Nurul Amin, Amir Hamza, Haji Mohammed Mia Hossain and Mahmood Hossain.
